Rhizome

Ask Perplexity. Get answers from the regulatory record.

Perplexity searches the open web. Add Rhizome as a custom connector and regulatory questions run against the health-authority record instead, with citations you can open.

Set authentication to “OAuth 2.0”
6
Click “Add”

Search “Rhizome” and click “+”
Back on Perplexity connectors, find the connector you just created.
8

Sign in to Rhizome when asked.
9
You’re connected
Ask a regulatory question and check that the citations open real health-authority pages.
ONCE CONNECTED, ASK PERPLEXITY THINGS LIKE
Summarize FDA’s stance on PCCPs for AI/ML devices, with citations
Show warning letters citing data integrity this year
Benchmark EMA vs FDA language on decentralized trials
What predicate devices show up for continuous glucose monitoring?

Every answer is still grounded in primary sources, with citations you can open in Rhizome.

Gotchas

  • Custom connectors need a paid Perplexity plan
  • Authentication has to be OAuth 2.0, and you sign in with your Rhizome account
  • If answers come back without health-authority citations, Perplexity probably answered from the web without calling Rhizome. Ask it to use Rhizome
